Let us ask you a question. If you were to die today, where are you going to spend eternity? No one likes to think about dying, but the reality of life is that we all die. The Bible declares in Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. When YOUR last breath leaves YOUR body, YOUR eternal soul will spend eternity either in heaven with Christ and all the saints or in hell with the devil and all of the damned. The Bible says in Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
God has made a way through His Son Jesus Christ for all to be saved. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. If Jesus had not come and died on the cross of Calvary, no one would ever make it to heaven, because the Bible declares, Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
God does not want anyone to go to hell. He wants ALL to be saved. The Bible makes this plain about the heart of God. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 1 Timothy 2:3-6 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Jesus Christ so loved YOU that He was willing to die for YOUR sins on the cross. After He died and shed His precious blood, they placed His body in a tomb. But the glorious news is that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and He is alive! He was seen by many after His resurrection, and the proof that He is alive is that He is still saving people today. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
The Bible declares in Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Again, "Where are YOU going to spend eternity?" It all depends on what YOU do with this man named Jesus. It is not of works or your goodness, salvation is totally by the grace of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
YOU have the promise of God that if YOU are willing to repent of YOUR sins, and call on the name of the Lord, God will save YOU! John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
